Day 1: Haridwar to Govindghat

The road from Haridwar to Govind Ghat passes through the Badrinath Highway, in this journey you travel along the banks of the beautiful Alaknanda River. It will take you around 10 to 11 hours to reach Govind Ghat from Haridwar and may take less if you do not take rest in between.

Day 2: Trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria
Now you want to reach Ghangaria and you will go from Govind Ghat. Earlier everyone used to go by trekking from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria. But now the road from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria has been built here. So you can reach Ghangaria from Govind Ghat by taking a taxi or you can also go by trekking from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria. The distance from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria is 4 kilometers.
And on this way you will come across many dhabas which serve you delicious food and there is also a gurudwara which provides you delicious food for free.
Now after reaching Ghangaria from Govind Ghat, you have to stay at Ghangaria for one night only. Here you will find hotels. And try not to take a taxi from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria and do a pedal trek because this route is also very beautiful and from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria you will walk along the river.
Day 3: Decide And Do The Trek Valley of Flowers back to Ghangaria
Today you have to trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers, which will be 7.5 kms from Ghangaria, this 7.5 kms includes both your coming and going, it means your one way distance will be 3.5 kms.
To do Valley of Flowers Trek, you leave your hotel early in the morning, Valley of Flowers opens at 7 in the morning, so you leave your hotel at 6 in the morning. And buy your ticket for Valley of Flowers Trek. After that you will do full day trekking and enjoy Valley of Flowers Trek.
Important point :- Your trek to Valley of Flowers starts at 7 in the morning, and you have to reach back by 5 in the evening.
Day 4: Trek from Ghangaria to Govindghat
Now after completing your trek of Valley of Flowers Trek, trek back from Ghangaria to Govindghat or you can also take a taxi from Ghangaria to Govindghat.
Make sure you also cover Hemkund Sahib before you head back, Hemkund Sahib will add another day and 6 hours of trek to your journey. Do visit Hemkund Sahib.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Valley of Flowers is in Rishikesh. You can reach Rishikesh by train. And after that you can take a taxi from Rishikesh to Govind Ghat, this taxi will reach you to Govind Ghat in 11 to 12 hours.
Road (By Road): You can also reach Valley of Flowers by road, you will get a bus from Rishikesh to Joshimath which will take you to Joshimath in 10 to 11 hours and then the distance from Joshimath to Govind Ghat is 20 kms. You will get a bus from Joshimath itself to Govind Ghat.
